An incident occurred this past week which has led to the creation of this blog. I don't think I can go into specifics here due to the nature of the incident but I intend to file a discrimination suit against my school. I get assigned a lawyer tomorrow. My best friend, who is a lawyer but not in my state, feels that I have a case. Disability Legal Services also feels that I have one. I'm burning cold with anger. but it's anger that I can harness. Anger that I can use to fuel my fight. I want my campus to be a safe place for people with mental illness. Even if this only goes as far as my school, my campus and only helps a handful of people, it will have been worth it.
